Big Bugs Show shines at the Hannover Festival
In the heart of Hannover, amidst the grandeur and slenderness of a large baroque garden, Mr.Image Theatre Group wowed the audience with its giant beetles performing the Big Bugs Show every day for three weeks.
The core group members performed throughout the festival, while additional performers joined in and took turns.
Despite the storm that hit Hannover one day, all four bug-performers, led by experienced Forester, showed up and braved the elements to put on an unforgettable show.
We all have fond memories of the festival, while the waiting and final moment of arriving of the ‘monster wheels’ from America, which enable the bugs to comfortably move on grassy field, was particularly exciting.
The whole festival experience had a significant stimulus for the further development of the Big Bugs Show in the right direction. The enthusiastic response from the audience, combined with intense daily engagement of the entire cast, especially from the actor who played the role of Forester, proved to play a key role in the continuation of the success of the play.
